Successful Graduate – Tina Annal
I researched on-line and found Essential Nails courses which was ideal, as was a stay at home mum with a baby. I decided I would do an Acrylic & Tip Overlay and started my course in Jan 2014. I passed with a credit, then wanted to learn more, so followed on with Maintaining Nails, then Gelaze UV Gel Polish course, Nail Art then Airbrush Nail Art, passing all the courses with a distinction.
I found the Airbrush Nail Art course challenging and almost gave up, but as the Essential Nails Tutors always say “practice makes perfect: so I stuck with it, practicing on my trusty Nail Trainer and passed with 100% Distinction grade. Pleased and proud don’t even come close to how I felt!
I have found my true passion in nail art and really enjoy creating lots of nail art designs on my Nail Trainer. I just love the Nail Trainer practice hand, it’s the best invention ever! I can do a few nails when I have a minute then come back to them later on and completing the set.
Most of my spare time is nail time, I love spending lunchtime when my son naps and evenings doing practice nails.
Having built up products and kit over the last year, my home was becoming over run, so I decided we would move around our large bedroom and split it into 2 rooms and make myself a home salon. Now I have a dedicated nail area to store my nail products and welcome clients when I opened my business.
I’ve set up a facebook page called The Art of Nails and been sharing my 16th month journey in nails and been posting my designs up daily.
My salon nail art gallery wall has over 1500 nail designs on it, I am really proud of what I have achieved. My young son is only 2 years old, so I haven’t got my business fully up and running yet, but I do family and friends nails regularly. I will be opening my business fully when my son goes to Nursery.
I think I have everything I need to run my business and be successful, having just purchased the entire Gelaze uv gel polish collection, which I love, I really can’t wait to get going.
Having won a couple of small nail art competitions in the last year, my dream now is to be a successful & award winning nail artist in the future.
Thank you to Essential Nails for helping me on my journey.
