Lessons and theory are delivered online, and you carry out the practical aspects of the course on your Nail Trainer practice hand. You can watch the lessons as many times as you wish and practice for as long as you need until you're creating perfect gel extensions. No college commitments, commute, or expensive fees - simple one-to-one, private tutoring in the comfort of your home. This Gel nails course is especially designed for aspiring nail technicians; no previous experience or qualification is needed to complete this course.

• You have the option to include The Nail Trainer practice hand to create your Gel nail extensions and to simulate the experience of providing the service to clients in a salon (this is necessary to complete the practical assignments).

On completing your Gel Nails course:

• You send your finished nails to us for feedback and assessment.
• If you have reached the required pass mark, we then issue you with your Accredited Nail Technician Certification.

Gel Polish Nail Course

Gel Polish is perfect for natural nails and nail extensions, and is the no. 1 nail finish requested by clients. It is quick to apply, has a glossy finish that does not lift, chip, or wear for 14 days. In this Gel Polish Course, we will teach you:

• How gel polish works
• UV light box safety
• Preparation of the natural nails
• Perfect Gel polish application in solid colour and French on the Nail Trainer.
• Professional Application and removal on a live model.

All tools, products, training online, assessment, certification, and unlimited student support are included. Your tutor will be Essential Nails, nail expert Sarah Gooderham. Sarah will share her top techniques. You'll work on the unique Nail Trainer® practice hand and a live model to complete your portfolio. Once you have learned, practiced, and perfected your techniques, you simply return your portfolio to us for assessment. We'll assess your work and issue your recognised accredited certificate, to show your clients you are a professional Gel Polish Technician.

Please Note: Before starting this course, you need to have completed one of the following courses with Essential Nails: Manicure & Pedicure, Gel Tip and Overlay, Acrylic Tip and Overlay or have completed a course elsewhere that covered health, hygiene, and sanitation.

Spa Manicure Course & Pedicure Course

Every Nail Technician should be able to provide a basic Manicure service for their clients. Good Nail Technicians will be skilled in both Manicure and Pedicure. The best Nail Techs will mould these basic skills into the ultimate luxury nail services.

This course will not only teach you the basics, but also those special pampering services  that will increase your clientele and have them coming  back time and time again. 

There are two courses in the box:

• Manicure
• Pedicure

You can choose to do either Manicure or Pedicure or Both.

The course covers the NVQ curriculum and contains all the tools and products you need.

• The Spa Manicure/Pedicure Course is a comprehensive training course.
• It contains everything you need to learn professional Spa Manicure and Pedicure treatments.
• Over 2 hours of incredible tuition, tips, and techniques from Nail Guru Jacqui Jefford and international Nail Technician Denise Wright.
• All techniques are demonstrated on live models, however, you can use The Nail Trainer® practice hand to practice your shaping, preparation, and polishing technique.

On completing your Manicure Course and if completed, the Pedicure course:

• Simply return your completed case study work book  to us for marking.
• We will then assess your work, and if it is of a high enough standard, we will issue you with your accredited professional certificate. There are separate certificates for Manicure and Pedicure.
