Part 1: Foundation You'll learn about life in a nail salon and you will understand the issues involved with sanitation, salon procedures, nail diseases, different nail systems, tools, chemicals and products.
You will create your first nails. Gina shows you how to hold files and fingers, how to prepare the nail and create the extension. All the techniques are shown slowly and then at a speed you might achieve in a salon. You copy what you see on your own Nail Trainer. |
Part 3: Working the Whole Hand You bring together all the techniques you have mastered and learn some of the tricks of the trade. Saving your work. The nails you create on the Nail Trainer are detachable, you save them as you work though the course, so on completion our tutors get to see and asses your finished work. |

Your course workAs you work through the course you will be saving the nails at each stage of the nail build on our unique progress cards. You'll also have practised up to 60 sets of nails, perfecting the techniques you've learnt. You'll have answered up to 8 question papers and had one to one coaching over the phone or email. |

Please note that we will only assess work, and issue certificates sent to us by the original purchaser of the course unless agreed by us in advance. Under some circumstances it is possible to transfer a course, for example an unused course to another family member, but please phone us to arrange this first.
If you buy a second hand course from ebay, for example, you will have to purchase the assessment for that course separately for which there is a charge of 95 pounds. This buys you: telephone support, special prices on any additional Nail Trainer nails and extension tips you might need, assessment of your work, issue of re-take cards, products and re-assessment if you fail, issue of your certificate and membership of 'Aspire' when you pass.
We strongly advise you to call us first before buying a second hand course as many will have used, out of date, or missing items, some may have payments outstanding under our 'pay as you learn' scheme. You may well end up spending more to get a complete course than if you had bought a brand new course.

This course shows you how to do all those lovely designs you see that make you say 'Wow, I wish I could do that!' Really easy to follow instructions, thank you Jacqui and Kirsty for showing me the know how, and thank you to the rest of the team for the telephone support when I needed it. I am so pleased, I passed with a 100% mark and received a distinction :) You have to do this course, it's by no way easy and does require patience and practice but if you are the creative type, I am sure you will get great pleasure from it. This is the 2nd course that I have done now with Essential Nails and my Nail Airbrushing Course is waiting for me to start it as my husband has bought it me for Xmas. I absolutely loved every minute of doing this course I must of watched the DVD about 50 times with Jackie and Kirsty showing you step by step how to create some fantastic designs. The 20 that Jackie shows you how to create are great fun to do and once you start you can't stop. It even teaches you Nail Piercing and attaching Nail Charms. The products that you receive with the course are of the highest quality and are easy to work with. I've just submitted my Nail Art Course Nails for marking today so Im really nervous as to whether I pass. I would definitely recommend this course to my friends, family and others. <3

Wow, I have just received a phone call this morning and I have passed the Nail Art course with 100% Distinction! I am so pleased with this result and know that my work was so worth it! I loved working on the course, and it certainly kept me quiet (not many things can say that!) i have just found out i passed my nail art course with 100% distinction, i have loved every single minute of this course and have already started trying out my own designs. the course is very challenging and teaches you all of what to need to about nail art. the nail trainer is a must even for after the course! the girls on the EN facebook group have supported me and still are throughout my courses and gave me the most helpful advice! this was my 2nd course with EN and am currently training in the gel course, have also just ordered the manicure and pedicure and the maintenance course.dont know what id have done without EN they are absolutley fantastic!

I really enjoyed this course - love the variety and trying things out on such a small scale - must try out some more but would like a sculpting nail art course!!!! My husband bought the course for my Christmas present it was the best present I got (some thing I really wanted for a change) I found the DVD very inspiring and excellent to work along with!
