This Spa Manicure Pedicure Course is a comprehensive training course.
It contains everything you need to learn professional Spa Manicure and Pedicure treatments.
All techniques are demonstrated on live models, however you can use The Nail Trainer practice hand (available to purchase seperately) to practice your shaping, preparation and polishing technique.
On completing your Spa Manicure and Pedicure course;
Simply return your completed case study work book and question papers to us for marking.
We will then assess your work, and if it is of a high enough standard we will issue you with your certificate. There are separate certificates for Manicure and Pedicure.

No matter what option you choose, you get the same comprehensive course that will teach you how to perform a Manicure and Pedicure to a professional standard. The course follows the requirements for the UK NVQ. However we recognise that not everyone needs to be formally qualified. So we've made the course as flexible as possible, allowing you to choose to learn Manicure, Pedicure or both.
The course provides all the tools and products you need, along with individual teaching DVDs for Manicure and
Pedicure. We teach you how to finish in single colour and French (pink & white) polishes, and we show you advanced massage techniques using oils and creams to provide your clients with a full Spa experience.
1. Spa Manicure and Pedicure Course including Assessment and Certification + Foot Spa This is the full course, including a luxurious foot spa (which is not strictly necessary to have for training purposes), for students wishing to incorporate it into their Pedicure routines. It provides an additional touch of bubbling luxury during the soaking process.
Also included is a comprehensive workbook and a set of question papers that you work through when treating your clients or models. You learn the routines as shown on the course DVD(s), and using a model of your choice, take progress photographs as you work through the treatment, which you save in your work book. You send your completed workbook back to us for assessment and certification.
You can choose to be assessed for Manicure, Pedicure or both, and if you pass, you will receive individual recognised certificates for each discipline. Having graduated, we can arrange your public liability insurance and for you to join the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, so that you can work professionally from home or in a salon. Jacqui Jefford
Your tutor on the DVD is Jacqui Jefford. Jacqui has spent the last 25 years working in the Professional Nail and Beauty Industry. She has had her own salon with ten staff and private training school with five tutors with throughput of over a 1,000 students a year. She started as a mobile nail technician working from home and travelling to client's houses in London, and the Brecon Beacons, Wiltshire. She now lives in the New Forest, Hampshire. Jacqui's passion has always been education and she is the author of four successful books.
She has been instrumental in making sure that the course complies as much as possible with the NVQ syllabus and she covers much of the health and safety aspects of Manicure and Pedicure both on the DVD and in the accompanying book.
Denise Wright
Your Instructor on the DVD is Denise Wright. Denise has been creating award winning nails since 1990 and has 13 national competition wins and 2 international placements to her name. She's appeared on national television and has many celebrity clients. As a qualified adult educational lecturer trained by the University of Greenwich, Denise lectures to City and Guild levels and travels the world helping to improve standards in the industry world wide. She also writes exam papers, moderates for governing bodies, has regular columns in all the trade magazines and is the competition director for the UK. In addition, the Habia skills team are currently utilising her skills to encourage lecturers development. Having owned her own salon from the age of 21, she is a successful business woman whose skill, experience and achievements are highly respected throughout the nail industry. She is also a member of the inspirational HABIA Skills Team travelling all over the UK giving seminars on nail education as well as being involved in the development of new nail qualifications.
On these DVD's she demonstrates the practical aspects of a Spa Manicure and Pedicure, imparting her vast range of techniques and experiences to the viewer with a relaxed, but informative style.

I love it, wanted to start with the basics and for me the massage is a must in a treatment which I missed everytime I went to manicurist.
