how to chose a nail courses
We have Seven different Nail
Courses.
Three of these courses will suit the absolute
beginner: Gel Nails, Acrylic Nails or Fibreglass Nails. Any one of these
courses will teach you how to produce strong and beautiful nails and at end
of the course you will be good enough to create a professional looking set of
nails in about 90 minutes and charge £30 to £40 for the service.
The remaining courses; Nail Art, Airbrushed Nails, Acrylic Sculpting and
Maintenance should be considered after you have learnt the basic skills.
Many Nail Technicians take more than one course learning either Gel, or
Acrylic nails, for example, and they build a successful business offering only
one type of Nails. Others learn all three systems and other exciting techniques
such as Airbrushing and Nail Art to increase their income. The choice is
yours, you can take a single course or work through all six.
All of the courses assume that you know absolutely nothing about nails, so
you can be assured that everything you need to know will be taught in the
courses.
Which course to choose? Read the information below, before making a
decision:
Gel Nails
Course.
This is the ideal beginner's course.
Expect to take about 60 hourse to complete the course.
Gels are the latest innovation in the world of professional nail
enhancements.
Gel comes in a small jar and is about the consistancy of honey.
It's applied to the nail and extension tip with a small brush, and is 'self
levelling'.
It's therefore easier to apply than Acrylics, making it the
ideal system for beginners.
Gel nails are cured under an ultra violet (UV) light and are
odour free, hardwearing and beautiful to look at. Whether
you’re a beginner or an accomplished nail tech, to offer a modern service, you
need to learn Gel nails.
The course costs £369, including vat unless you already have a
Nail Trainer hand (from a previous course), in which case the price is £299.
Spread the payments over 4 months at the checkout (or 6 months by phoning 01 440
820 999).

Acrylic Nails Course.
Also known as 'liquid and powder', this is the classic nail
extension system and is in highest demand by customers. Expect to take
about 80 hours to complete the course.
You mix small balls of acrylic and powder on a brush and apply
to the nail and extension tip, pushing it into shape with the brush, and then
filing and polishing to a high gloss finish.
It's slightly harder to learn than Gel, so you might need to put
aside 6 hours a week.
Some people dislike the strong smell, but some people love it!
After completing the course you will be able to
create a
professional looking set of Acrylic nails to delight your friends or
clients.
The course costs £369, including vat unless you already have a

Fibreglass Nails
Course.
This is the system that is kindest
to the natural nail, using far less aggressive chemicals than Gel or Acrylic.
After extending the natural nail with tip, small pieces
of fibreglass are applied to the nail and covered with resin.
The resin sets hard in a few minutes and soaks into the
fibreglass weave making it invisible.
It has no odour, and although it is less popular than Gel
or Acrylic, many nail Technicians love the natural look and easy maintenance of
Fibreglass Nails.
The course costs £369, including vat unless you already have a
Nail Trainer hand (from a previous course), in which case the price is £299.
