I am 42yrs old, married with 5 children. I am currently an aerobics instructor, but have a damaged achilles tendon and so needed a new business in order to be able to rest my leg.

I started my courses at the beginning of January 2009 and have passed my Gel tip and overlay, Acrylic tip and overlay, Maintenance and Nail Art. I am currently doing the Airbrush course and then intend to complete the Acrylic Sculpting. I am really enjoying the nail art and gel extensions, especially sinking things into the gel, like the dried flowers and gems.

I teach 10 classes a week, and see over 300 ladies a week and so have an ideal potential client base from which to lay the foundations as a mobile nail tech. I am launching my business on 28th March at the local golf and country club.

We have delivered 20,000 leaflets and there was a HUGE banner on the fence at the golf club. There are two editorials going that went to print and an advertisement in the local paper. I already have 9 weddings booked, just through word of mouth. So far over 100 people have rung to say they intend to attend the launch, so hopefully I will be soon looking at a full diary.

My aim is to open a salon in summer 2010, and my daughter is going to go to college to study beauty so we can expand the services. So basically with all the amazing support I have had from Nathalie and Sarah, as well of course as the AMAZING courses you have provided, in only 3 months I have finished my training and am launching a business.....YOU ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The launch was a HUGE success!!! We had 125 people attend the day, 110 bookings, including 10 pamper parties for 5-10 people and 11 all day wedding bookings, for at least 5 people per booking!!!

I had a fabulous time, all the champagne was drunk and my models dressed up as can-can girls, there were 9 of them in total and they did a brilliant job looking after my guests.

I am averaging 3 enquiries a day from the flyers and am also getting them to book. The local comprehensive school have booked me all day this Friday to do a prom nail presentation and demonstration.....paying me £250!!!!!! I have already got three pupils booked for prom nail art.
